Allergy Plans

Many of my patients have allergies -- from Lactose Intolerance to Wheat Allergies.

My main concern with these patients is that they are eating a nutritionally-balanced diet

with enough complete protein and nutrients --

particularly iron, B12, calcium, riboflavin.

I start by first evaluating my patients present diet by analyzing a week's

worth of food records and making adjustments accordingly.

I also discuss combinations for complete proteins and restaurant dining,

as well as food preparation using alternative protein sources,

such as beans, tofu, tempeh, soy products, etc.

Commercially-prepared food products are also discussed.

If necessary, recommendations for supplements are made.
